Olu Jenzen (she/her) is Professor of Media and Digital Culture at the University of Southampton, with expertise in LGBTQ+ Youth Cultures, specialising in participatory research with young people.
She has co-produced research on topics such as LGBTQ+ youth digital activism; and trans and gender diverse youth and access to Higher Education which ignited the creation of the Paul Cottingham Trust Scholarship to promote gender diversity in higher education and society, and to contribute to social research related to trans experiences. Olu has also contributed to research on the Queer Futures 2 project aimed to produce research that will improve the provision of mental health support for LGBTQ+ young people.
